Define, Design, Develop
We have the know-how from both the construction/design and software development worlds to aid you from your very first steps to the final product.
1. DEFINE the problem/idea
Identifying the problem is the first step. Sometimes it's an obvious need that arises from doing the everyday tasks. It might be a small, annoying missing feature, or a big feature that is non-existent in your current CAD/CAM system.
It could also be a bright idea that would help your company to get that competitive edge that we all need.
Either way we are here for you from the start. With our in-depth knowledge of your world (construction and/or design) we can tell you straight up what kind of solutions could be developed.
Any good design is based on a full understanding of the problem/need. To achieve we conduct in-depth interviews. Because we value your time and ours, we will be to the point, yet thorough.
2. DESIGN
Armed with answers from the q&a session(s) we will take all information away and come back with a PLAN. we have 2 main part of this Plan:
- Specification (What needs to be done)
- Timings (when it needs to happen)
Specification can vary from project to project, but there is always one! We choose what is most suitable: written detailed specification, mock-up, prototype or on-the-fly development. For some small projects it's sometimes as easy as agreeing on the details and then you can start using the tested product within days or weeks. Bigger projects will have to be planned out more, with more documentation to help with development.
Timing plan (project plan)
We love Agile as much as the next company, so we can be extremely flexible, but this does not mean that you don't deserve a properly planned project!
Our project plans specify when you will get what product/feature.
Naturally, we won't spend many hours or days creating flashy project plans for a 3 day work (unless you ask for it, of course).
Bigger projects will get the proper PM treatment: Gantt chart, milestones, pre and post requisites, dependencies,...
3. DEVELOPMENT
Once you are happy with what you'll be getting and when we will start the development.
All our end products come fully tested. We do give a month for additional bugfix, but you will hardly have to rely on that.
